WHY SHOULD KIDS DO YOGA?

The short answer is because yoga makes you feel better! 

It's no secret that yoga is great for everyBODY, as research shows regular yoga practice helps manage anxiety, arthritis, asthma, back pain, blood pressure, carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic fatigue, depression, diabetes, epilepsy, headaches, heart disease, multiple sclerosis, stress and so many other conditions and diseases. 

 

Specifically, yoga helps KIDS:

  • Learn how to use their growing bodies in a healthy way

  • Build concentration and creativity

  • Increase their confidence and positive self-image

  • Improve muscle tone, flexibility, strength, and stamina

  • Feel part of a supportive, non-competitive group

  • Have an alternative to tuning out through constant attachment to electronic devices

  • Cultivate mindfulness in all areas of life
